How we handle it
Diagnosis starts with pressures, temperatures, and an electronic leak search or dye where needed. From there it’s usually a specific part: a seeping O-ring or hose, a tired compressor, a failed clutch or pressure switch, a plugged expansion valve, or a blower motor and cabin filter that never let much air through in the first place.
We follow MACS standards for refrigerant handling and recovery, which matters both for the environment and for doing the repair correctly. Whether it’s a daily driver in an August heat wave or a classic you want cold for the coast run, we’ll get the system sealed and charged to spec.

Can you just recharge it?
We can, but if it was low it’s leaking, and it will be low again. We’d rather find the leak first and tell you what fixing it takes.
My car uses the older R-12 refrigerant. Can you help?
Yes. Older systems and retrofits come through here regularly with the classic car work.
Why does my A/C smell bad?
Usually mold and debris on the evaporator or a cabin air filter that’s past due. Both are straightforward to sort out.
How long does A/C work take?
A recharge and leak test is typically same-day. Component replacement depends on where the part is. Some take an hour, some are behind the dashboard.
